“I love faces and landscapes, geometry and the rhythms of athletics, and I work in several media, mostly painting and quilting, as well as in graphic design. Sometimes I join painted images of people and textiles to create “mythic realism” pieces; sometimes I use my computer to explore the meeting point between pure color perception and recognizable nature, taking photographs and changing their pixelation to emphasize their pure color design while maintaining their recognizable uniqueness. Then I transfer these combined or altered photos to cloth or paint.”
